Uttar Pradesh to create 2 lakh government jobs in the next two years, as announced by CM Yogi Adityanath
On August 22, 2024, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made a significant announcement that is set to bring a wave of employment opportunities to Uttar Pradesh. Speaking at a district-level employment and loan fair in Muzaffarnagar, the CM Yogi adityanath declared that the state government will provide 2 lakh government jobs within the next two years. This move aims to tackle the growing issue of unemployment and offer stable job opportunities to the youth of the state.
During the event, CM Yogi handed out appointment letters to over 5,000 young individuals. And marking the beginning of this large-scale employment drive. The fair was attended by more than 50 well-known companies, showcasing their commitment to the region’s development. This event is a significant step towards reducing unemployment and boosting economic growth in the state.
In addition to the job opportunities, CM Yogi Adityanath also took a moment to support local businesses and entrepreneurs. He distributed loans worth over ₹30 crore to selected beneficiaries and MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) entrepreneurs. These loans will empower them to expand their businesses, create more jobs, and contribute positively to the local economy.
20% Reservation for Women in Uttar Pradesh
In a move towards gender equality. CM Yogi also announced that 20% of the upcoming government jobs will be reserve for women. This decision is expected to encourage more female participation in the workforce and provide them with secure and respected employment opportunities.
