BCCI Secretary Jay Shah to Take Over as ICC Chairman from December 2024

Jay Shah, the Secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), has been  elected as the Chairman of the International Cricket Council (ICC). This historic election will see Shah take on the prestigious role starting December 1, 2024, following the conclusion of Greg Barclay’s third term as ICC Chairman.

At just 36 years old, Jay Shah becomes the youngest ICC Chief. And marking a significant milestone in the history of cricket administration. His election is seen as a testament to his leadership skills and the respect he has garnered within the cricketing community.
